The Research Triangle MRSEC is comprised of researchers from Duke University, North Carolina State University, North Carolina Central University and the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill and operates facilities dedicated to the study and development of the programmed assembly of soft matter. In addition to the Research Triangle MRSEC Soft Matter Lab, center affiliates also have access to institutional facilities at each of the participating universities.
