NSF MRSEC Facilities Satellite & MRFN Workshop 2018

Workshop Overview

One of the outcomes of the Facilities Workshop held in March was the identified need to learn and do more in regards to data. With the help of Dr. Eva Campo from the NSF, MRSEC Directors and Facilities Managers reached out to Robert Hanisch with NIST who talked about initiatives there, as well as the key outcomes of a recent NSF workshop on data for materials science. In addition, Dana Vanderwall from the Alltrope Foundation discussed the sizable effort that the organization are making with regard to data.
